We'll stop just short of Top Gun quote here, but if it's speed you crave, thousands of subsequent words can you empty your wallet. How about the opening line? To be honest, it's been a while since any of us Engadget editors boot up a new device and immediately release the flow of expletives - all reveal unbridled fun, of course. That was our initial meet-cute with the Acer Iconia Tab A510, the company's first Tegra 3 slate, and the second to ship with Ice Cream Sandwich.

Besides 1280 x 800 TFT LCD display, this 10-incher looks, feels and does not like its predecessor, the A500. Turbocharged with a quad-core CPU and 1GB of RAM, Android 4.0 tablet is joining the category crowded with the generous 32GB of built-in storage and a $ 450 price tag to match reasonable. So are advantages to lose its luster with the wider use? Is your money better spent on one of the other tablets running ICS so? Is the lack of high-quality screen proved too much con for your wonderful taste.
